Using a 4x5" film view camera, filters, and infrared and blue/green-sensitive films I photograph the same scene in light our eyes can and cannot see. I then combine the two images to form show the normally unseen infrared light as red among the grays of visible light.
Note how foliage reflects the infrared light (because of its chlorophyll content) while water reflects very little.
